Rafter House

I have a new rafter house. You can see that Mom & Dad don’t use the unfinished basement. I might as well take it over as my own.

I don’t know if you can tell, but I’m like 1100 feet up in the air. Pretty cool, huh?

My Bad: Pee Cat Confirmation

Okay, okay, okay. There’s a rumor that I’m a pee cat. Some people say that I like to pee on stuff that belongs to other kittehs in my house. Bed. Blankets. Cushions.

That’s a lie!

Mom and dad took me to a lady vet and she thought maybe, just maybe, it wasn’t me. I’m handsome. I gotta nice personality. She thought it might be my brudder Jake. She said it would be good to have more data and maybe a video.

So mom & dad set up a trap and tried to snare me, yo.

Oh snap.

Now listen, I was framed. This is entrapment!!

Sigh.

Fine, it was me.

I like to squirt to show everybody who’s boss.

I’m sorry.

Where We Pee

You may remember that sometimes I don’t like to pee in my box.

My humans were testing out multiple boxes and litter. Every night, they were counting our pee clumps to see if there were trends.

The only trend that’s clear? We like to pee.

Tomorrow I’m gonna see my vet shrink because I am feeling more scrubilicious but I still peed outside the box 4x in the past two months.

I say that it’s okay—just keep the spare blankets and suitcases locked up and there won’t be any problems, yo.

More tomorrow.

We Like to Bug Momz

Mom has too much fun doing her expense reports and presentations. Poonchy Emma and I decided to bug her.

Doesn’t she look swell in her gym clothes and gym hair? We’re gonna keep bugging her till she takes a shower.

Hey Dudes, Whassup?

Oh yeah, I’m still here being scrubilicious. I was featured on Bunny Jean Cook’s blog and my dad took some fancy pictures of me.

Breaking news: it’s good to be me.

Disappointing news: I peed 2x this month.

  • Once in Jake’s bed because it smells like him.
  • Once in a cardboard box that Lucy likes because it should be mine.

Can you blame me, scrubfos?

Travel Woes

Sometimes I like to pee when my Mom travels. This time, I am being a good boy.

Dad used his phone and took some pictures of me — and Emma — so mom could see us on her camera phone. Dad doesn’t know the Twitters or Twitpic so he’s old school with the phone.

Emma is cute and poonchy, but I am so handsome and pee-free. You gotta give me that, yo.

My Pees: An Update

Dudes, here is an update on my peeing.

Mom put nine litter boxes in the house to test out different kinds of litter and to see where I like to pee. Every night, she counts our pee clumps. For reals. Then she enters the number into a spreadsheet.

All of our boxes are numbered. Boxes 1-4 are in a space that is designed based on the recommendations of the Cat Fairies.

Boxes 5-6 are covered. Box 7 is in the back of the basement. Boxes 8-9 are upstairs so mom made a separate spreadsheet to track those — and she’ll use her pawesome data entry skills and combine all this scientific mumbo jumbo into a spreadsheet. Hold up, she just said she wants a chart. No way!

This is our pee clump count (from the basement) in May.

Look at this — I hate boxes 5 & 6. Covered boxes are the worst, yo.

Also noticed that I only peed once in May. That’s a big step. I peed in a cardboard box, but you can’t blame me. I wanted it to smell better.

That’s all for now, suckers. Mom has to compile the chart. Here’s a picture of how we look on the computer.

I’d rather be Scrubbin than doing Excelz.

Cat Scratch Fever

I had a birthday but no party because I hung out in the rafters all day long.

I got a new cat scratcher. I had to smell it to make sure it’s friendly. Dad took some pictures of me in natural light with a high ISO. Then he took a picture of Emma who used my scratcher and loved it, too.

Do you notice that Emz is almost too poonchy for the regular camera lens?

Thanks for all the Facebook and Twitter birthday wishes, yo!

♫ Happy Barfday Two Pees ♫

It’s my birthday. I am four years old. I know you’re surprised. Mom gave me a gift. It’s a souvenir from her vacation to Hawaii.

My dad says that the lighting is a little too harsh and highlights my cheekbones. My poonchy sister, Emma, doesn’t have that problem because she has no cheek bones. Just plenty of cheek, yo.

I Can’t Quit You

My new house isn’t ready yet. Glue is drying. While we wait, here’s a video of my Moms being annoying.

She loves me. Too much.

Lady, I don’t bug you when I pee. You love it.
